WEIGHT MANAGEMENT

Rachel has many years of practical experience helping clients achieve Weight Management goals.  She has developed several different nutrition plans which are designed to help individuals manage their weight.  

  • NEW 6 Week Body Bootcamp designed for clients wanting to get back into eating healthy food and exercising, with easy to follow meal plans.  An intensive initial  consultation and 2 further reviews at week 3 and week 6.   Great to get off a few extra kilos.
  • A 12 week challenge meal plan is for highly motivated individuals willing to make significant dietary and activity changes to achieve a body transformation.  Fortnightly body composition (Bio-electrical Impedance, body fat testing with calipers, weights and girth measurements, photos is required) and nutritional reviews are required.
  • Portion Power is for individuals who need to learn how to eat a balanced food intake and manage their weight in a sustainable manner.

 

Rachel has been a Senior Oncology/Haematology Dietitian for University College London Hospital, specialising in Head and Neck Oncology.  She has extensive knowledge and experience in helping individuals and care givers of people with Cancer.  She has been a regular guest speaker for the Tauranga Cancer Society due to her in-depth knowledge of Cancer related nutrition.

CHOLESTEROL / DIABETES

Rachel can help guide you into better eating habits in order to control blood cholesterol or blood glucose levels.  Many clients have had positive blood changes due to modifying their diet and activity level after consulting with Rachel.  Several local GP's regularily refer clients who need specific nutritional advice and are pleased with the positive blood changes.

INFANT FEEDING

As a busy Mum, Rachel has experienced many nutritional issues with her own children and has been a guest speaker for the Tauranga Parent Centre.  She can give practical weaning advice to ensure children continue obtain optimum nutrition and help with any specific weaning or allergy concerns.

SPORTS NUTRITION

To achieve their maximum potential, athletes require specialised nutritional information, goals and plans which entail consultation with a Sports Nutrition expert.  Rachel can devise the correct nutrition plan for you, in addition to monitoring your body composition changes throughout training and competition with bio-electrical impedance, skin fold testing with calipers and girth measurements.
